An illustration exploring the transience of perception. "memento mori" combines classic Vanitas symbolism with contemporary digital art to create a surreal, almost dreamlike scenery. Elements of the Baroque meet modern glitch aesthetics, opening up a space between reality and illusion for the viewer.

The work invites reflection on the impermanence of our existence. The pixelated distortions, the chessboard pattern, and the spherical objects create a tension between order and chaos, structure and dissolution.
